MOOD BOARD

Mood Board

A mood board is a tool used by designers to help them get a good idea of what their clients are looking for. Mood boards are basically collages of items such as photographs, sketches, clippings, fabric swatches and color samples. Mood boards can also be used to portray an expression or feeling, for example, A sad mood board would contain images of sad people, people crying, violence , etc.

This moodboard is named "dark". Looking at the moodboard gives the viewer a sad feeling because of the use of the black background and the individual images. For example, the image of the hand holding the rope suggests sucide, death and depression.
